Tenants Handbook

Issue of the new Tenants handbook

Carol Bosworth & Norman EmbersonOne of the most significant recent innovations by Penwith Housing Association is the new ‘Tenants Handbook’ that is being distributed to its residents.

“Its aim is to aid all those in the county who are residents with the Association and Devon and Cornwall Housing Association” said Andy Moore, the PHA Chief Executive. “It will help them understand the terms and conditions of tenancy agreements and to offer general help and advice. The handbook is relevant to all their general housing needs”.

Norman Emberson of Hayle, Chair of Peninsula Tenants Committee is pictured here with Carol Bosworth (Pendeen), Chair of its Media Group and the new booklet which is one of the biggest updates in the 18 year history of the PHA and is available from reception offices and on-line with its new text and illustrations.

“It is a very useful tool containing so much information on a variety of topics for new tenants” Mr Emberson added. “We felt it important to ensure that the document is relevant to all of our group residents across Cornwall. Changes are being made to improve the neighbourhood service and the handbook reflects the goal to achieve an efficient county-wide management structure.
