Opening event at Sennen

PHA chair Gail Hunt welcomed guests to the opening of the housing development at Sennen. As well as Joan Tanner, Chairman of Penwith District Council, guests included district and parish councillors and children from the local school.

The school held a competition to name the new development and the chosen name of Horizon Fields was submitted by one of the pupils who received a prize of some books.

Two children from the school who live on the scheme took a few minutes to tell guests what life was like and how they were so happy with their new warm, large and comfortable homes.

We released a balloon for every child in the school and a prize will go to the person whose balloon goes furthest.
