Deborah Addicoat is the recent winner of our ‘residents incentive scheme’. Deborah was presented with a certificate and cheque for £500 by Chair, Gail Hunt at our annual review at the Tregenna Castle Hotel, St Ives. Deborah lives with her husband Ian and two children in Pendennis Road, Penzance.
“Christmas is on the way, I am shopping early this year!” she commented. “When the phone call came I was quite flabbergasted,” added Deborah. “The only thing I have ever won before was a rather dire toy panda when I was a teenager.” The family have lived there for over eight years.
To qualify for entry into the scheme’s prize draw, residents must satisfy certain criteria, all of which demonstrate a responsible and positive approach to their tenancy:
(i) the resident must have a clear rent account for 12 weeks;
or
the resident must have continual rent payment including an agreed amount to reduce debt unbroken for 12 weeks
(ii) the resident and permanent members of the household must not have an Anti-Social Behaviour Order
(iii) the applicant must not have broken any part of their
tenancy agreement.
It pays to be a good resident.
