Would you be willing to join our Peninsula Tenants' Committee?
Would you be interested in representing residents' views? The Peninsula Tenants' Committee currently has vacancies for both PHA and DCHA residents across Cornwall.
The Peninsula Tenants’ Committee (PTC) plays a valuable role in the way PHA is run; its members represent residents’ views and influence policies formed by attending sub-committees, working groups and through our consultation panel system.
The PTC meets five times a year and consists of elected tenant representatives from across our neighbourhoods, as well as members nominated by recognised residents’ associations. Committee members receive training and are given the opportunity to give a resident viewpoint on both current services and new initiatives which may affect them and the other organisations and agencies they are involved with.
We are currently asking PHA and DCHA residents across Cornwall to consider being co-opted into the committee in the first instance, with the opportunity of standing for election next year. We are keen to attract individuals with good communication skills, self-motivation and who work well as part of a team. You may be asked to attend an informal interview with committee members.
If you are interested in joining this dynamic group of residents, please contact us by e-mail: contact@penwithha.org.uk or on 01736 331799.
