Teamwork is essential in delivering the multi-million pound ‘Decent Homes Programme’ throughout this decade as thousands of properties managed by Penwith Housing Association (PHA).
Now the ‘Technical Services’ team has been elected by the association staff as its Team of the Year. The group with their Technical Services Manager, Frank Lashbrook – in centre with the engraved glass plaque trophy – are pictured in celebratory mood.
The team includes architectural technicians who carry out the role of project managers, building surveyors, quantity surveyors, clerk of works, supported by technical assistants and administrative staff.
“Several major contracts, costing millions of pounds, have been successfully completed during the past year at Goldsithney, Connor Downs and Hayle” said PHA Chief Executive, Andy Moore.
“This year the focus is at Penalverne; Jack Stephens Estate; Pendarves Flats; St Clare Flats; Fountain Court; Prospect Place Flats (all at Penzance); Parc an Cady; Kew Pendra (St Buryan) and Atlantic Crescent, Sennen”.
A high degree of teamwork is essential in completing the programme by 2010-2011.
