Festive spirit at Penameyne Court

One would have thought it would have been impossible to better previous Christmas light displays at Penameyne Court, St Ives. However, the dedicated residents brought great festive spirit to St Ives when town Mayor, Yvonne Watson, switched on the light extravaganza on the 19th December.

The brightly lit courtyard was filled with residents, family and friends; whilst local school children entertained with carol singing. Father Christmas arrived with sacks full of treats and everyone ate their fill of mince pies. Andy Moore entertained the crowd whilst auctioning off all of the lots which had been donated by local shops and restaurants.It was a great evening for everyone; residents raised some funds towards a communal room and everyone left full of festive cheer.
