Tenant Board Member Election Results

Throughout Cornwall residents were invited to stand for election to a seat reserved for them on the Penwith Housing Association (PHA) Board. Postal elections took place during August 2009 for this North constituency position which includes the following areas: St Ives; Hayle; Nancledra and St Erth.

There were three candidates for the seat: Harry Bosworth, Frank Bowater and Norman Emberson.

Following postal voting throughout August, the ballot count took place on the 11th September 2009. The successful candidate, Norman Emberson, is a familiar face on the Board and was first elected in 1993. Andy Moore, Chief Executive of PHA commented “On behalf of PHA I wanted to thank all of the residents who voted in the election and congratulate Norman on his re-election to PHA’s Board”.
