EU good practice guide

Penwith Housing Association' s continued work in the field of energy efficiency has recently been featured in the 'EU Local Energy Action' good practice guide. This 2008 publication by the ManagEnergy Initiative provides a range of channels for the exchange of good practice information.

Their recent brochure contains 12 examples of good practice from energy agencies across Europe and includes PHA's ground source heating initiative. Each has been validated by the European Commission against a set of objective criteria. They have been chosen for their significant contribution to the promotion of energy efficiency and / or renewable energy use and for their strong possibilities of replication.
