Site visit at Sennen
School children have had a sneak preview of 12 new affordable homes built in their village.
The visit recognised the part the children had played as they had chosen the name of the scheme. Among the youngsters was Harvey who came up with the winning name of Horizon Fields. Harvey was presented with a prize and a bag of goodies at a special assembly after the tour. The site party also included children who will be moving into the new homes before christmas.
Emma Nicholls, our Senior Housing Officer in Truro said: "it is fitting that the children should have tour of the site because of their close involvement with the scheme all the way through. The development is crucial to the village and to the school and it is great to see so many excited young people taking an active part in our work."
