St Ives MP, Andrew George, hosted the launch of a campaign in London on Tuesday 28th October 2008 on the need for more South West Social Housing following a request from Penwith Housing Association.

The launch of the ‘Home Truths’ report in the Jubilee Rooms of the House of Commons (Palace of Westminster) was supported by speeches from Dan Rogerson MP for North Cornwall and Professor Steve Wilcox. It is a document that details how many people are in need of housing and how many new homes need to be built, and has been produced by the National Housing Federation in the South West.
