Sub-groups

Peninsula Tenants' Committee has the following sub-groups to carry out its work. Each sub-group is chaired by a different member from the committee. Each of the sub-groups is given responsibility to consider how services are delivered and how they can be improved.

Technical Partnerships Group

  • This group meets regularly with Partnering contractors and discusses how things are happening on the ground.
  • The group developed the contractors pledge card, which is a two-way agreement between contractor and tenant. This helps to ensure that when work needs to be done, everyone knows what is expected of them.
  • This group is regularly updated with the progress and development of the Decent Homes Programme. It has made several suggestions to the Property Services Team, which have become part of good practice, having particular input into the recent Frequently Asked Questions leaflet.

Constitution and Management Group

  • The Constitution & Management Group consider how the PTC is managed including it's Governance, Constitution, Code of Conduct, Terms of Reference and Budget.
  • This group is keen to widen the scope for involvement and increase opportunities for members to develop their skills and interests.

Customer Services Group

  • The Customer Services group work with PHA in representing tenants' views on customer services, service improvement and development.
  • The group also monitors performance and service standards relating to Customer Services.

The Events Group

  • This team of active residents are keen to make new connections and will be looking at regional events across the county.
