Peninsula Tenants Committee

Influencing policy

Peninsula Tenants CommitteeThe Peninsula Tenants Committee plays an important role in the way PHA is run and influences policy forming through representation on sub-committees, working groups and through our consultation panel system.

Following our recent recruitment of seven new co-optees from across Cornwall, there are now 25 members on the committee, with elected representatives from across our neighbourhoods, as well as members nominated by recognised residents’ associations.

The committee meets 5 times a year and provides an opportunity for tenants to give their views about how policy and governance issues may affect them and the other organisations and agencies they are involved with.

The committee considers a wide range of PHA’s activities through different sub-groups, which meet regularly. Click here for more information about the sub-groups.

Each sub-group is chaired by a different member from the committee. Each of the sub-groups is given responsibility to consider how services are delivered and how they can be improved.
