Autumn is definitely here. It’s getting colder and we’ve had more than a little rain. Which is why our latest edition of Open Door is perfectly timed – stay indoors with a cup of tea and enjoy reading about the events and activities residents have organised and taken part in over the last few sunnier months.
In Cornwall, it’s been a summer of outdoor activities so we’ve got plenty of stories and pictures from festivals, fun days and BBQs in our Residents roundup and Young voice. Plus a gallery of glorious gardens courtesy of this year’s competition winners and runners up.
We’ve got a jam-packed Money Matters section – a favourite in the results of our Open Door survey so far. And we’ve included a ‘cooking on a budget’ recipe by popular request: a Chilli-tastic autumn warmer found on page 16 – so give it a try!
