New-look Open Door first designs

Four designers have now pitched for the new-look residents' magazine. Take a look, vote for your favourite and get in touch to tell us what you think.

The designs are in! The four designers we asked to pitch have been in to see us with their ideas for our new-look Open Door.

We asked them to produce two covers and two inside spreads:

a front page visual for the Devon edition
a front page visual for the Cornwall edition
an inside spread for the introduction and news pages
and an inside spread for older people.

Taking on all the feedback from the very successful consultation day we held in March, we advised the designers that we were looking for a single, uncluttered image on the cover and an engaging, bright and fun look throughout. We asked for good signposting of information, with details on the cover about what’s inside and a contents section making it easy to find the stories and information you’re looking for.
